  11th Edgworth Folk Festival  2022

The festival is a charity event which is run for the benefit of the Barlow Institute, a community centre and wonderful historic building in the village of Edgworth near Bolton in Lancashire. It usually takes place on the first weekend of October. All proceeds go to the Barlow Trust. There are concerts, workshops, singarounds, music sessions, dance displays, a ceilidh, lectures, demonstrations, with a bar and food available. All the artists and workshop leaders give their time and talents for free for which we are immensely grateful. We are proud that the festival attracts guests and visitors from all over the country to share our love of great folk music and camaraderie. The Festival is in its 11th year now, and has established a reputation of being relaxed, friendly and welcoming. We are pleased to announce that the 2021 Festival raised £4000 for the Barlow. Thanks to everyone who made this possible.
